The air is a haze of aphids.

Yes, I do realise the morbidity of a picture of a grave...
but it's such a peaceful place.
Quiet and lucid. Like a postcard from the coast.
A nod to the desire for a sixth form musical.

How I enjoy exam preparation... and the sleep crescents it creates under my eyes^.

And
Suddenly
I'm a boat
I'm
I know it
I'm
I'm a boat.

Animal Farm.

 HEY.
I rediscovered the magic that is my plastic animal collection.
Many a rainy afternoon was spent tending to this menagerie.
You can't quite say it's a farm or a zoo, the species are wide ranging and different sized... there's some dinosaurs in there too to give it a prehistoric feel.
I've decided to hand them over to my wee cousin Melissa, she's their perfect owner, as she's the only individual I know whose Disney VHS collection rivals mine;)

Her name's ZOOey. Therefore she gets a mention :D

Thank God For the Sleepy Seaside Town.

You can't see, but I'm standing on an edge.

So. Evidently, I went to the seaside.
The family decided to take advantage of May day, and off we trundled to Hastings in the car.
I fell asleep and woke up in Tunbridge Wells, to beautiful houses.
We made packed lunches, and ate them on the pebbles. There you can see my dad pretending to be Bon Dylan whilst eating a cheese sandwich.
We found a junk shop that wasn't open,
and an art gallery we didn't go in,
and the wind creased our clothing,
on the quest for pink ice cream.
The last one was a quarter rhyme.
I chucked a couple of others in there too.
It wasn't Disney, it was quite cold and the ice cream parlor probably wasn't really Italian but I felt very British and I suppose that's all that matters.
